Company Profile
Since 1870, Gudebrod a specialty textile manufacturer of flat and round braids, twisted yarns, dental floss and specialty threads, has developed and supplied product to a wide range of industries including medical, aerospace, apparel, jewelry, and fishing tackle. We are fully integrated with the ability to twist, braid, dye and package the end product on site.
We are an FDA approved manufacturing facility for medical cords and an ASL approved supplier of silk and synthetic sewing threads as well as braided lacing tapes and overbraids for the aerospace industry.
Our electronics division has been awarded approved supplier status by Boeing, Lockheed, McDonnell-Douglas and Raytheon. Our medical products division makes medical cords for many of the major medical companies and a wide range of dental floss packagers. Our industrial thread division supplies silk sewing thread to the fine apparel and jewelry trades. In addition, Gudebrod is the largest supplier of rod building threads and fly tying threads to the fishing tackle industry.
